Get Involved

Growing the business and giving back to the community.

Whether you're already a member or you're thinking about becoming a member, there are several ways that you can get involved in our co-op.

Join the Co-op — or Sign Up a Friend

For every new member who joins our co-op, we get one step closer to realizing the goal of opening the doors of our own tap room or brewpub. We are asking for your help in achieving this goal.

If you haven't become a member yet, what are you waiting for? You know you want to. Think about inviting your friends over for a drink by saying, "let's grab a drink at my bar."

If you're already a member, ask your friends and family to join. Or buy them a gift membership. Just imagine the look of their faces when you tell them that they are a part-owner of their own brewpub!

Just click on the "Join Now" button to get started.

Join a Subcommittee

As we move closer to opening our doors, there are many factors that need to be considered and plans that need to be put in place. To help drive these efforts forward, there are several subcommittees that focus on various aspects of the business.

Your input is welcomed and encouraged. Do you have a special skill or experience that would help out with a certain subcommittee? Great. Join one today. Are you just interested in helping guide the brewpub but have no skill or expertise in that area? Great. It doesn't matter. Join a subcommittee anyway (just in case you want to have some fun).

There's no requirement for any of these subcommittees other than a desire to help move the co-op forward. We have a lot of exciting things in the works and we'd love to have more input and assistance in getting this done.

Join Our Slack Group

Our co-op uses Slack to track our board meetings, many of our subcommittee's projects, and several other projects and activities. It's probably the easiest way to keep up to date with everything that's going on in our co-op, and you can choose to follow only those groups or projects that are of interest to you.

To get on board, send a request to members@umunhumbrewing.com.

Come to One of Our Events

Getting involved is as easy as showing up to one of our many meetings or events. Check our Meetup page to find out which subcommittees are meeting and when. All of our board meetings are open to all members and to the public, and they’re generally held on the fourth Saturday of every month.

If meetings aren’t your thing, we also have a number of fun-filled activities in which you can participate, including keg-tappings, pub crawls, and tasting events. There is also a semi-official trivia team, made up of members and non-members, which competes every Monday night at San Pedro Square Market. It’s a great opportunity to meet other members — and participate in a mini-beer-fest every week.

We look forward to seeing you at our next event.

Drink Our Beer

One of the easiest — and most satisfying — ways to participate is to enjoy one of our beers. Check out the Beer page for our line-up of beers and the Where to Buy page to see where our beer is being poured.
